Literature Text
Oh what I would give,
To dream again,
To dream of beauty and passion,
Love and faithfulness,
Oh what I would give to have such,
But I have my nightmares instead,
Meaningless words echoing,
In the endless corridors of my mind,
Driving me in circles,
Endless and hideous,
These walls are ever and always the same,
Unchanging as the seasons,
Ugly as the dead that live in these halls,
Ugly as I,
Unchanging as I.
To dream again,
To dream of beauty and passion,
Love and faithfulness,
Oh what I would give to have such,
But I have my nightmares instead,
Meaningless words echoing,
In the endless corridors of my mind,
Driving me in circles,
Endless and hideous,
These walls are ever and always the same,
Unchanging as the seasons,
Ugly as the dead that live in these halls,
Ugly as I,
Unchanging as I.
Dreams are the works,
Of a most fantastic story,
A story of fiction,
And perfect sunrises,
Unending love,
And undying people,
Dreams are tho works,
Of a most fantastic fiction.
Of a most fantastic story,
A story of fiction,
And perfect sunrises,
Unending love,
And undying people,
Dreams are tho works,
Of a most fantastic fiction.
