26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
       in the image of God he created him;
       male and female he created them.

If man has been made in the image of the christian God, then one must assume that God is just as sick and perverted as we are.

Man was created to be Godlike, so if we really are the image of God then the bible is a book lies. (I already thought this to be true)

Man is a race of murderers and rapists. Is their God the same?

Man is a race of liars and thieves. Is their God the same?

Man is a race of hate and greed. Is their God hateful, and greedy as well?

I say that he is. Times uncountable God had people killed off or raped in the bible. And as I recall he never objected to it,  when it was committed by HIS people.

I cannot see how God can down talk theft when he told HIS people time and time again to go and kill off these guy over here, and take their land. And as for lies.... simply read the bible. The self contradictions will jump out and bite you in the ass. These are a very few listed here.

Hate and greed. God "himself" said that he HATES those who walk away from him. HATES those who dabble in other religions. All of which are labeled as Witch Craft. A fact that any person who actually knows the definition of Witch Craft, would  disagree with.  Buddhism Witch Craft?  I think not. Is

Hmmm.  If he preaches against lying, but every other word out of his followers is a lie... then how are we supposed to be confident in following him? Especially when his message is so far fetched.

We are made in the image of this God supposedly. And the "apple doesn't fall from the tree" it would seem. We are created in his image, and his shit stinks worse than ours. He created our shit, and allows it to continue to grown, and multiply. Come away from the christian lies, and deceptions, I beg you. Do not waste your life holding yourself back from reaching your potential. You will never be great as a christian. You can be great elsewhere.
Come out of the darkness and into the light.

What a very negative anthropology and theology. Most theologians these days don't look at the doctrine of the imago Dei as offering a Substantialist understanding of the self, rather they follow Jean Calvin in suggesting that the imago Dei is a mirror. We become the imago Dei when we are in communion with God. This is orientated towards an Eschaton, we are always in the process of becoming and each generation envisages a telic for this becoming.

The problem with suggesting that since we are evil, God must be evil are that we are not fundamentally evil, there is no grounding to our being in this world that is intrinsically evil, nor is it good. All these categories are constructions by us, contingent upon our society and culture and language. Therefore it's even hard to imagine a God that is limited by these categories which we ourselves create. God is not "good" or "evil", God is beyond both. Ortherwise we've nailed God down and placed God in subordination to ourselves.
