Literature Text

Feeling dead has never felt so good,
And feeling alive has never been so damn depressing,
Pain has never been so eye opening,
For the colors have never been so true,
Never have I seen things so clear,
When if ever have I noticed your beauty before?
The tone of your face,
And the shade of your skin,
But it is the blackness of your tongue that attracts me the most,
And the void in your chest that draws me in,
Is it just the agony you feel and fell for,
That pulls at me?
Perhaps it is the dark polish on your nails,
That attracts their stares,
And in turn my devotion,
Bound to your petty fashions,
You are the source of their gaze,
And they are mine,
So can I call it fate that brought me to you?
That cross on your neck will have to go,
But for now it can stay,
Until I can force you to see things my way,
Will you smile as we melt it down?
I know I will.
Expect this title to change, and for it to become the name of something else.

Melting crosses that sounds like fun! Another great poem. I'm glad I finally got around to looking though your gallery; it was worth it.
